On tap at Faculty, pours a clear amber with a small white head. Aroma is restrained, with toasted bready malt and a hint of hoppy bitterness. Flavour is off, with toasted bready malt that collides with a harsh hop character in a very awkward way. Dry, lightly bitter, unbalanced; just very clumsy and incompetent. Not a good red ale.

Pours clear brown with modest foam, nice sharp fruity hop notes on the nose with malt hints. Flavour is muddy sweet malt with a sharp hoppy back end, a bit candyish, some biscuit. Mouthfeel is dry and crisp. A little mediocre for what it is but still drinkable.
