473mL can. Pours black with medium tan head. Aroma has chocolate, chili, and coffee; similar to mexican-inspired hot chocolate. Flavour has a similar profile, but with an astringent note lacing through. Dark chocolate and coffee; the chili coming through in the astringency more than any heat. Nice take on a coffee stout, but flavour leaves it a bit lacking.

473mL can, pours jet black with a medium tan head. Aroma reveals lot of chili, coffee, and chocolate in good balance. Flavour is on the drier side, with lots of dark cocoa and coffee upfront, accentuated by moderate chili spiciness. Nicely integrated, though not particularly complex or deep. Solid flavoured stout.

The aroma is okay soft coffee with vague sweet chili notes, has decent foam and a dark brown body. Flavour is good smooth chocolate, mellow coffee in there too. Mouthfeel is full and dry but also somehow just slightly too thin for a beer like this. It's simply okay.
