Kolsch

A crisp, clean and precise Kolsch that is easy to drink, offering slightly more fruity aromatics of grapes, strawberry and melon than typical, but with just a hint of those tastes. Entirely German Malts giving the color of a white grape juice that finishes dry with no lingering taste.

Hops: Huell Melon and Hallertau Blanc

Poured from 473mL can. Clear blonde gold with dissipating white head. Lightly bready malt, clean, feint grass hops. Inoffensive.

Gold, white head. Balanced nose. Good body, medium spicy hop bitterness. Good malt in back. Prickly and good lacing

Clearish straw gold with a decent white head. Dirty wheat and grains. Citrus, lemon and a touch of grains. Light bitterness. Not a Kolsch.

Cloudy blond colour. It feels like drinking a wheat ale, with some Belgian yeast spices, light orange, wheat bread in the finish. The spice is stronger in the aroma.
Pleasant beer, but probably the wrongest Kölsch I ever had.

Smells of good bright smooth hops, has nice foam on a semi-cloudy yellow body. Flavour is good bright hops with soft grain and the mouthfeel is full and smooth. This is a decent kölsch.
