Inspired by Black Forest Cake, our Dark Cherry Sour Stout offers a rich deep malty body with chocolate flavours, balancing the acidic touch of sour cherries. Deceptively drinkable and unexpected, this limited small batch release pairs perfectly with a cold, crisp winter evening.

Dry and sour, this is not a stout. Wrong in so many ways, I have lost what respect I had for this brewer. A total drain pour

Nice blackish purple body and modest light beige pink foam. The aroma is stout barley and sour cherries working reasonably well together, not amazing, but okay. Flavour is sour cherry indeed with a bit of stout buried in the back, but it's all unbalanced and too watery. Not exceptionally awful, but a little awkward. I can see where this is going though and hope they work out the kinks.
