Draught at the brewery, nitro
Black colour with thick nitro head. Light aroma of cocoa and hazelnut. Smooth but fairly dry, with notes of dark roast, some coffee, cheap chocolate and a touch of roasted vanilla.
I feared it was worse than this.

On nitro tap at Parallel 49, pours black with a medium creamy tan head. Aroma is full of chocolate, hazelnut and lactose as described, with nonexistent roast. Flavour is dry and somewhat bitter and metallic, with hazelnut and cocoa upfront, gentle lactose, and some metallic notes. Upfront, it's pleasant - the adjuncts showcase well, but the body is thin and jagged, coming across rather harsh. This could be better.

The aroma is cloying fake sugary peanut butter, has good nitro foam on a blackish brown body. Flavour is heavy peanuty fake barley syrup that made me shudder, seriously! The mouthfeel is way too sugary and overbearing. This is needs serious refinement, it's just a big syrup bomb at this point.
