Considered the Champagne of the North, at the height of the 19th century this was the most popular drink in Northern Germany. It is refreshing, light, and carries a wonderful tart lemonade and bready backbone. However, what takes this beer to the next level is when it is combined with a signature simple syrup ( historically Woodruff or Raspberry). Nique will be experimenting and designing multiple versions to try, check in each week to see what's new.

Medium goldish body and minimal foam, sour fruitiness of no distinction on the nose. Flavour is sharp citrus, vague grain notes, plenty of sourness. Okay fruit skins on the mouth, but otherwise pretty average.
