Fusing traditional taste with modern technique, this dark wheat ale is light bodied and crisp despite its dark appearance. It is crafted with 35% white Canadian grown wheat and fermented with our house ale yeast. This combination creates a fruity and clean palate.

Roast and caramel. Brown pour with ok head. Light bit of cloying lime in the finish but nice enough for style. Can.

473ml can. Pours a clear amber brown with a medium, creamy, long lasting, beige head that leaves curtains of lace. Mild sweet aroma of toasted bready wheat malt, nuts, raisin and milk chocolate. Sweet flavour of toasted bready wheat malt, caramel, plum and milk chocolate in a dry, mild bitter finish. Light body with a soft, creamy, smooth body and soft carbonation. A fairly quaffable offering.

Heavy brown body, good foam. Sweet barley on the nose, not bad. Flavour is semi-sweet barley, modest chocolate hints. Kind of watery on the mouth. Rather meh, workable but hardly memorable.
