The pure Alsatian character, a blend of smoothness and French sophistication with a strong German charisma. Its taste is initially bitter with a refreshingly smooth aftertaste

Crisp golden coloured body with a thin, one centimetre tall white head. Aroma of alcohol, metal, grass, hay, lemon and a touch of sugars. Light-bodied; Sharp malty flavour with some very light grain flavours, a touch of lemon and citrus and a smooth alcohol flavour with only a touch of metallic notes. Aftertaste is very mild with the grain and citrus coming through and very little else. Overall, a nice and light beer with some citrus flavours, a good deal of sugars and a mild earthy note. I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased from Super Estalvi (supermarket) in Barcelona, Spain on 13-April-2014 for €0,95 sampled in my apartment here in Barcelona on 14-April-2014.

Many thanks for this bottle to teddybeer. Pale yellow, decent white head, lace. Sticky hoppy aroma. Hoppy but watery. Dry, slightly woody aftertaste.

330ml bottle bought at El Corte Ingles Palma de Mallorca. Dark golden body, remaining white layer. Modest smell of sweet pale malts and distant fruits. Taste of grainy malts and far away fruits. Dry ending. Lively carbonated. Thin to medium bodied. Possible to drink (hotel room, Port de Soller 10.07.2013).

Average lager, lots of cereal evident, taste and aroma of corn. Clear golden body, small head, was hoping for something a bit better

The impressive bottle design is not matched by the quality of the contents. It’s marginally better than most lagers through it’s smooth, slightly creamy texture and low to medium carbonation. Flavour has light sweetness and malts.

Location: 12 oz bottle from an El Corte Ingles, 4/3/13
Aroma: The nose of this one is pretty much sweet malts and corn, with a little grain
Appearance: It pours a clear golden color with a fizzy white head and some drippy lace
Flavor: The taste leans sweet, malty, with lots of corn/adjunct lager flavor, and no bitterness
Palate: It has a light body but it isn't really watery, with a softish carbonation, and smooth finish
Overall Impression: This is a sweeter, smoother, and softer version of a Pale Lager. It was nice that it felt a little different, but it wasn't particularly exciting. You could say it is both atypical and typical at the same time, and, in fact, I just did.
