IPA is the King of Craft beer. A mixture of the great Columbus and Cascade IPA hops provides piney, citrus flavours, with hints of Bergamot and Grapefruit. A big hoppy beer which is not for the faint of heart. Recommended for experienced Craft Beer drinkers and those that can appreciate big bold bitter flavours.

Tap at the original HCMC brewpub. Poured a slightly hazy copper colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, piney, grassy citrus hop. The flavour is moderate to strong bitter, light sweet, with a crisp, malty, juicy grapefruit citrus, light alcohol hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

On tap at Heart of Darkness, pours a clear copper amber with a medium beige head. Aroma is quite malty, with caramel bready malt and resinous hops. Flavour is almost more English-like, with lots of caramel bready malt, resinous hops, some toffee and a touch of an English character. A bit too malty for my liking, but this is well-made.
