The rich roastiness of this North American style stout is complemented by the addition of vanilla bean, cardamom, and local honey. Cardamom is often described as citrusy, minty and herbal and pairs well with a multitude of different flavours, partcularly beer!

On tap at the brewery. Aroma is heavy on the cardamom and smells a lot like your creepy uncle's aftershave. Has a muddy dark brown nearing black body and vague beige foam lingering around on top. Flavour is muddy sweet cardmom-y barley and heavy on the coffee and spice, it lends itself to unwelcome qualities and flavour combinations. Mouthfeel is full enough and crisp I suppose. This is an odd mix that is heavy on the spices but not on the drinkability.
