Douglas Lake Cascadian Brown Ale is our version of a Brown India Pale Ale. Dry-hopped with Vic Secret and Citra, this IPA is a beautiful leather mahogany colour with aroma's of mandarin orange, pineapple, dank and subtle citrus. A light malt body for easy drinking.

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 5 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 4.5
Aroma is a good mix between hop and malt. Has an okay medium brown body and a bit of foam on top. Flavour is medium hops and plenty of sugar, not nearly enough malt to call this a brown ale. Mouthfeel is full enough but missing crispness, depth, or anything interesting. This is missing the brown in a brown ale, way overhopped for such a style.
