Bottle bought at the cidery, opened at home, because apparently according to liquor laws that's better than drinking it at their beautiful farm. It pours with a murky pink hue and very fast dissipating foam, strong carbonation. The aroma is all fruit skins, tannins, and fresh sweetness but nothing artificial. The flavour is some very nice crushed fruit that shines through with a rather dry finish. Good mouthfeel. This one is okay, a nice mix of things that is still down to earth and real in the cider world, something often lacking in these parts.

On tap at Townsite, pours a clear pink with a small white head. Aroma is tart, with sour black currant and moderate acidity. Flavour is dry and tart, with simple black currant character, light acidity and some apple core. Simple and nothing complex, but pleasant enough.
