On nitro tap at Monkey 9, pours black with a small brown bear. Aroma brings out lots of oats, with medium roast and earthy notes. Flavour is rather bizarre, with bitter roasted malt, hearty oats, a deep earthy, soil-like character, and some burnt coffee. It's similarly intriguing as it is a bit off. Not really a fan ultimately.

Has a perfect beige foam on top of a brownish black body. Aroma is good dry roasted barley though a little sweet as is all their stuff. Flavour is okay coffee and dry chocolate notes. Mouthfeel is sweet and sugary. This is a perfectly serviceable stout.

Black color. Mild aroma of roasted malts. Some roasted malt and chocolate flavor, with light residual sweetness, this reminds me more of a Porter than a Stout, it also has a light level of acidity that can be considered suspicious, and a light creamy feeling in the final; this could be diacetyl or an infection, but it's not distracting.
Decent.
