A typical Bavarian “Weissbier” style wheat beer. Bear Beer Wheat is brewed with more than 50 % wheat malt, barley malt and caramel malt. This unique malt composition and a special top-fermenting yeast creates a fruity and spicy, clove-like aroma.

Very nice, smooth feeling to the mouth with silky hops aroma. This beer is unfiltered, thus containing natural ingredients. The natural turbidity consists of proteins and yeast and is a quality requirement.

500 ml can from Seiyu. Big, buttery, biscuity nose, diacetyl, cloves, banana. Some lemon too. Cloudy gold to orange, medium head. Lots of citrus in the flavor, cloves, banana, peach. Sweet, biscuity, rather flat in flavor and in carbonation. Not bad, but not so special either.

50 cl can, i thought it was Danish but it isn’t. Light orange color, lisgly hazed, ok offwhite head. Fruity weizen smell. Aroma of banana, wheat, lemon, light spice, mineral water, light hop, a little alcohol already. Taste is balanced, finis is dry, citric. Light body, average carbonation. Unexpectedly decent weizen, easily quaffable.

Can shared at kerenmk’s place. Cloudy golden with a white head. Slightly sourish aroma with overripe fruits, some spiciness, a bit of graininess and a bready note. Sweetish and slightly tart flavor with fruity esters and some phenols. Rather light-bodied, fluffy mouthfeel. Not great but quite easy-drinking.
