16/12/2018. Bottle at Tony Roma’s, Santiago. Pours clear amber brown with a foamy off-white head leaving good lacing. Aroma of berries (not knowing maqui I’d say a mix of sloe and blueberry), malt, red grape juice, light toffee and hint of chocolate. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Quite nice.

Meh, okay white head and slightly ruby-brown body with medium carbonation. Has a fine stench between sugary raspberry and fake bready malt notes. Tastes much the same - slightly fake and very sugary blueberry moderated by fake and sweet malt. Medium finish with more sugar. Not all that cloying though, but still lots of sweetness here only slightly pulled back by a few people with a minor concern for finesse. Nonetheless it's simply eh- okay.
