Birdseye Pale Ale finds itself most comfortable on the floor of your canoe, or the easy-access pocket of your hiking pack. Weekends in New Brunswick were made for this beer, and most definitely vice versa.

Little head and foggy orange body, smells of stinky feet hops though some sweetness is shining through. Flavour is a lot of grapefruit with a harsh bitterness at the back end that makes the whole deal less than refreshing. I doubt I can get past the foul finish; maybe spit it out before swallowing?

Can from NB Liquor. Hazy deep amber under a short lived white head that leaves some patchy lace. Nose is toffee and grassy hops. Light sweet toffee with light+ bitterness. Medium slick mouth with average carbonation and a crisp finish. 6+/3/6/3+/13+
