Primator IPA 6.5% bottle courtesy of Nicky & the importer. Lovely clear copper, sour acidic nose the taste is a bit ashey bitter but bland. I think this suffered in transit, drinkable but I’d rather not.

Bottle @ Post-Easter Procrastination, Ulfborg. Pours clear amber with small white head. Clear aroma of malt, with bready, fruity and hoppy notes. Bitter flavour of hops, with notes of malt and touches of caramel. Bitetrish aftertaste. Well, it tastes better than it smells, but I am not very impressed, anyway. Why do Czechs have to experiment?

0.5l bottle. Clear orange body, white head. The aroma is quite interesting for me. Grainy, slightly caramelly aroma with lots of floral and spicy hops. It’s like mixing a märzen with an amplified pilsner aroma. Taste refelcts the aroma. Grainy, caramely malts and lots of floral hops with a chewy grassy character which I definitely like. If the style American IPA exists, who are we to say there is no room for the Czech IPA. I dig it.
