Tap at Hereford Restaurant, Nuuk. This had a darker colour that was not so reflected in the taste which remained quite easily drunk. little tinny but not too much.

On tap at the brewhouse in Nuuk. Never found a bottle of this, but I wasn’t looking too hard. It’s an okay lager, not special, weak hints of hops and a watery palate. Try their other beers instead.

Flakhaven Moskusbajer. Amber with a lasting off-white head. Malty aroma of bread and caramel with a faint and appropriate hint of sulphur/DMS. Crisp iscuit malt flavour, very clean in malty character (for the brewery)

From tap at the brewpub (Apollo), 6.4%. Pours hazy and dark orange with a dense off-white head. Mild butterish and caramel malt aroma. Flavour is light acidic with a mild caramel malt sweetness beneath. Finish is light bitter to mild herbal and slight acidic, but also showing a subdued caramel sweetness.

(On tap) Sampled at Bryggeriet Apollo, Copenhagen as "Moskus Bajer". Clear, warm amber with a creamy, off-white head leaving laces. Fairly clean aroma of both caramel malt and hops. Fairly full body with quite some malt sweetness and a solid, bitter finish. Quite clean, but a bit raw in its bitterness. 120207

Draft. A light amber beer with a lazing light orange head. The aroma is very herbal - a bit like "Old Spice" spices combined with an acidic note of citrus. The flavor is very complex with notes of straw, herbs, spices, grapefruit, moss, and lichen - reminds of artic regions, with a dry spicy and herbal end. Very intersting, but the acidity in the aroma is a drawback.
