Guuud! Ale is an Extra Pale Ale uniquely designed for Kitanoya-Guu Izakaya Restaurants. Brewed with extra GUUUDNESS this beer has been crafted with four types of malted barley and two hop varieties. This style of beer has a robust flavour and a great carbonation level that cleanses the palate between dishes.

Poured from 650mL bottle @ Guu Robson. Slightly hazy copper with minimal off white head. Basic caramel and grain malt with light pine hops. All around average.

This is a nice golden ale, with a heavily carbonated body and a huge solid head on top. The aroma is soft malts with a hint of hops towards the end. The flavour is smooth malts with a bit of tinny hop finish like a canned lager. Wet finish. Yet I could see this going well with sushi, it’s a, shall we say, well-crafted version of an Asahi or Sapporo. Give it a try, it’s certainly drinkable.

Bottle from Brewery Creek, Vancouver
Amber color with medium sized head. Caramel aroma, with a light cheesy, yeasty and metallic touch, some grains too. Caramel flavor, quite basic, with some yeast and paper feeling, light grains; ordinary bitterness.
An ordinary Ale.
