I’d been eyeing this one for awhile at Cave à Bulles, and now it was time to give it a go as they say across the channel. Pours with a dark black-ruby clear body and a big antique white head. The aroma is your typical spicy barley, coriander and roasted barley I’d reckon, not that there’s anything wrong with that. The taste is a watery barley with a sharp hoppy finish. Watery mouthfeel, again, a common problem in French brews. Kind of in the middle somewhere.
