On tap at the source. Pours with a very murky to cloudy yellow body with a lasting white head with some lace. Aromas are huge with phenols, strongly dominating clove presence. Some bubble gum, lightly peppery, all phenols. Flavors are bready, vanilla with a bit of a slick mouthfeel, phenols, medium citrus and finishes lightly tart. Slick mouthfeel with medium carbonation.

On tap at the Jupiter brewpub some years ago. This was an okay hefeweizen with little head and reliable American-style hefeweizen taste: meaning that you can expect the lemon and wheat-beer grains, but no complexity or anything above the average. Alas.

Draft at the brewpub. An unclear golden beer with a thin lazing white head. The aroma has notes of wheat and citrus. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of wheat and medium notes of lemon, leading to a dry wheaty finish. More like an American wheat beer, than a German Hefeweizen.
