Fläschle (Dank am See!): Clear, very pale golden with a greenish sheen, lively carbonation, stable white creamy head, mild to moderate sweetish-grainy nose, just a pinch of bitterness detectable; moderate sweetish flavour, light bodied but sticky; short grainy finish with hardly more bitterness. Just another liquid sleeping-pill...

Huge thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts mild, malty, modest dry. Spicy-malty background. Light herbal notes. Finish well balanced. Quite drinkable. Not bad!

bottle from local gefako. Golden yellow with a tall white head, long-lasting and leaving lacework. Fragrant hop aroma with a citrusy touch. Light and elegant, very pleasant malty base, more flavourful than your average Helles, slightly sweeter too, quite nice actually. Fragrant if shy herbal, grassy and citrusy hops in the lingering finish. Smooth an velvety on the palate. Unusually full of flavour compared to the average example of this often very boring style, a real pleasure and surprise, I didn't expect to like it so much.
