Keg @ Tilt, Brum. Pours dark, black even, with small tan head. Aroma has bucketloads of coffee, dark roast malt. Taste is largely roasted coffee, dark malts, some chocolate with a confident bitterness. Medium bodied. Lots of coffee going on here.

330ml bottle from Alko. BBE 10 OCT 2018. Pours pitch black with a smooth head. Aroma of roasty malts, coffee beans, vanilla, cocoa, chocolate and milky creamy notes. Taste is smooth, slightly roasty and earthy with some coffee beans, vanilla, chocolate and espresso. Finish is smooth, slightly sweetish and roasty with some coffee beans, vanilla, chocolate and cocoa. Okay coffee stout, but not much cold brew notes here.

"cold-brew coffee stout". Well cold coffee is actually one of my pet hates - but this beer is gorgeous ! Bottle form Beer Dock, Crewe - but (perhaps crucially) straight off the shelves, and not via any kind if chilling. Well the overwhelming presence is of coffee ! The nose is overpowering,. Pours a deep muddy brown with a creamy beige head. Soft carbonation. Chocolate and coffee predominate in the nose, but with fruity undertones that I can't identify - blood oranges is the best I can do. Maybe caramel and bacon hints as well. As for the finish - well it's overwhelmingly coffee again of course !

On tap at Craft room Zagreb. Pitch black coloured, medium sized creamy brownish head, pleasant coffee nose. Roasted malt, roasted coffee, light dark chocolate and some milk chocolate with dry roasty coffee finish. No trace of alcohol. Great one.

On tap at Craft Room, Zagreb. Dark brown to black, small off-white to beige head. Mostly coffee, light roasty, dried fruits, some alcohol. Sweet with a fruity character, light roasty finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation. Good, but nothing special.

Dark brown to black colored, clear, medium creamy tan head. Aroma is malty, roasted and chocolate, coffee and coffee beans. Taste is medium+ sweet malt, dark chocolate and roast, coffee, milky choco, strong coffee beans, medium bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, oily. (on tap, Craft Room, Zagreb)

On tap at Craft Room. Pretty much a black body with a tan head. Big, dry, earthy coffee aroma that softens as it gets warmer but stays intensive. This one doesn't shy from what it is, but barrages you with its spiel from the very beginning. The taste combines that very same coffee profile, dry, earthy, very much tasty, with a soft, pleasant, full malty backbone, slightly sweetish, but not overly so, which tampers any potential rough edges and ensures the finish is soft too and the beer drinkable. An excellent, tasty stout that exceeded my expectations.

Draught @ Punavuoren Ahven, Punavuorenkatu 12, Helsinki, Finland 00120. [ As Thornbridge Fika ].Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, milk chocolate, dark malt, mocha. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration, milk chocolate, dark malt, chocolate, mocha.
