Smak: Toner av kaffe, mörk choklad, kavring, lakrits och torkad frukt.
Serveras vid: 14-16 grader till smakrika rätter av mörkt kött som nöt, lamm eller vilt. Även ostron och skaldjur är goda alternativ då sältan mildrar bitterheten i stouten.
Ingredienser: vatten, malt av korn, humle och jäst.

Bottled@Magnus & Mats tasting. Close to black colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is roasted mainly. Flavour is rather roasted and some ashes. Somewhat dry palate.

(Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 31 March 2019) Black colour with dense, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with chocolate, coffee and black rye bread. Malty, roasted taste with notes of dark chocolate, coffee, hints of peat smoke, liquorice, black rye bread and a balanced roasty bitterness in a dry finish. Medium body, dry. Really tasty and well made cask version, with lower abv than the keg version, making it highly drinkable. Very nice.

Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, wood, funky notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, dark malt, roasted, wood, funky notes. Svart med massivt vedvarende lys brunt skum. Lukter espresso, mørk sjokolade og noe kakaopulver. Middels fylde. Smaker salt lakris, kaffe, noe nøtter og lett mørk sjokoladebitter. Mye kullsyre til å være stout. Middels lang.

Black as the raven with a BIG frothy beige head. The head last for a long time and leaves a fine lacing. Decent aroma with an ok intensity. Medium + body and not as rich carbonation as expected. Tad sweet and an ok bitterness. Coffee, chocolate, licorice and NO gunpowder. Bang bang it was quite ok after all. Took some time to drink it because that enormous head popped into my nose all the time!

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Near black, enormous beige head. Aroma of chlorine and gun powder. Dry with medium body and rock hard mouthfeel. Metal, and chocolate, notes of plum brandy, Slightly resiny finish. Edgy and unpolished.
