Bottle at home, thanks to Michael next door, 23/12/2025.
Clear golden blonde topped with a just off white head that retains.
Nose is pale malts, straw, grain, herb.
Taste comprises breads, straw, dull fruits, hedgerow.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
Passable.

Bottle 33cl. @home poured into a footed pilsner glass. Clear shiny deep golden colour, small frothy white head, mostly diminishing, some lacing. Aroma pale malt, grain, biscuit, grassy hops. Taste medium sweet and slightly bitter, malty, grain, biscuit, light peppery notes. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, mild sweetbitter aftertaste, clean, solid, okay.

Clear gold with a decent white frothy head. Pale malt, biscuits, herbal & spicy hop. Medium dry. Light plus ending bitterness. A decent British lager.

Festival pint draft at the Royal Mile Tavern in Edinburgh, Scotland. It pours a clear gold color with a small off-white head and very good retention. Absolutely no aroma. Soft pale malt flavor. Clean and smooth with a very faint bready note in the finish. More of a pale lager profile versus a Helles in my opinion. Light body. Medium carbonation. Not bitter.

From tap at a restaurant in Edinburgh. Grassy herbal hop aroma with soft grainy malt. Moderate bitter, finishes dry. Lovely crisp grassy Lager, well done.

Klar gylden med hvitt skum som legger seg som ett slør. Aroma og smak malt korn fersken eple humle. Fyldig, soft, lett søtlig, lett bitter. Boks fra Co Op Portree, Isle og Skye

Van tap bij White Hart Inn in Edinburgh gedeeld. Grainy, grassig, maltig, zoetig, bittertonen. (9-5-2025).

500ml can, clear golden pour, big, fluffy white head. Light grains in the nose, some cereals, but more on the vegetal side, with some unpleasant sweetness, and some grassy, green, slightly herbacious hops. Body is full for a lager, and the carb while it looks very active is creamy, and soft. The finish is sweet, and a little corny, with some minerals and wet paper. Wont be buying this again,

Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso viene attratto dall'orzo. L'intensità olfattiva è normale e la maniera in cui permane è sufficiente. Il mantello birroso superiore resiste poco. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è di apparenza limpida e anche qui la grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il colore è giallo dorato brillante. L'amaro è discreto. La forza gustativa è normale e si prolunga in modo sufficiente. Il gusto è piacevole. Il finale è semplice e dissetante. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. In bocca l'aroma è quello di miele, cereali, erba e agrumi.
