Bottle from Bert’s Pours a slightly hazy light golden color with a bubbly off white head that persists. Aromas of spicy earth and bits of bready caramel. Caramelized sugars and dried pitted fruits with hints of earth and spice. Interesting beer, the fruity apricot is really interesting, It would have been better if there was some rye character maybe a bit more hop flavor aroma and bitterness?

50cl bottle from Sainsbury’s, Bracknell. A slightly hazy amber pour with a thick cream head; muted citrus aroma with some rye; sweet fruity tangerine citrus taste; and dry finish with more orangy fruit. Rather strange for a rye beer.

Bottle from Supervalu, Longford [160916]
Amber, soft haze, bubbly white head
Aroma of spicy hops, bit peppery, citrus, spicy malts
Taste of spicy hops, citrus hops, lemon, quite spicy, soft pale sweet malts, more spicy malts with the drinking but not that keen on the flavour
Palate - Medium carb and body, bit too fizzy, quite bitter, good bitter sweet balance. Finish as main flavour, some bready caramel, peppery spicy linger
Overall - Could do with more hops, lot of peppery spicy malts, but the flavour overall isn’t all that great

Very smooth. Not nearly as hoppy as it smells.

500ml bottle from Tesco - Amber body, looks decent, small head. Nose is stale stewed hops, boiled grain. Taste reminds me of Double Diamond oddly enough. Just come across wrong.

Bottle from Tesco. Slight hazy on this deep golden beer with a thin white head. Aroma is slight spice, citrus, and earthy. Taste starts light sweet, to lightish bitter, and caramel.
