Bottle. Pours a clear copper color with a medium white head. A light fruity perfume nose. The flavor is big floral hops, oranges. Solid. Very much a soft marmalade fruity rye flavor. Would be nice on cask. Pretty nice, but very light. Not anything surprising or particularity inspired.

11th Nov 2016: 500ml bottle into an ’Old Speckled Hen’ badged vase shaped pint glass (at home). Shared with no one. Hazy old gold in colour, smooth blanket of white foam on top. Rye bread with a slight peppery taste, fairly dry. No citrus notes for me: a bonus!

Bottle thanks to Fergoos. It pours clear deep gold with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is bready, spice, paper, earth, hay, damp wood and porridge. The taste is crisp, bitter, soapy citrus, porridge, bread, straw, cereal, grainy and light spice with a dry fine. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Fairly basic stuff.

Bottle at Level 42, thanks to Fergoose, 14/11/16. Light haze on a golden orange with a decent off white cap. Nose is damp straw, orange peel, straw, biscuit. Taste comprises melon, straw, tangerine, light perfume, grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok middle of the road affair, not unpleasant.

Bottle shared on Level 42 14/11/2016. A clear orange amber coloured pour with a loose off white head. Aroma is weird burnt hair, nutty malts, damp grass, weird. Flavour is composed of light grains, tangy, mineral, chalky. Palate is thin, spicy, mineral, frothy carbonation. Bit lacking.

Bottle shared in London - thanks to Fergs. Pours totally clear gold with a frothy, white head. The nose has some white grape, pale bread, ripening lemon. Medium sweet flavour with more white grape, lemon candies, melon, white bread, low bitterness. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish with OK balance, more pale bread, hay, white grape. Pretty simple, but drinkable.

Bottle: Hazy amber with a thick beige head. Toffee, rye, earthy fruit aroma. Taste is a little orange/tangerine malt, rye malt. Slightly peppery.....a bit of mild tea. Quite different, but I really enjoyed this one....very tasty.
