Can at Bishops Arms Sundbyberg. Hazy light yellow with a white head. Hops, tangerine, some mango, citrus and mild malt. The body was medium as was the bitterness.

Decent hoppy, double IPA, that's a little on the dry side.

My first DIPA in a long time, it seems NEIPAs have superseded them in availability. A step back in my opinion. I have a single 12 oz can to sample, using my Great Heights snifter for the tasting, let’s go. I determine an opaque, yellow-going-to-gold body and a representative head of white foam. A reassuring scent, tropical fruit, citrus and cut grass. A drink finally, nice, a bitterness I haven’t seen for some time. Also lemon, lime, grain, pineapple and a subtle sweetness. Ah, welcome back. Don’t know how this got styled as it is. A standard DIPA and go with it.

Can shared at home, sourced from Beerdome - hazy golden yellow coloured pour with a white head. Fruity with notes of grapefruit and mango, tangerine, zesty citrus rind, light to medium bitterness, sweet soft malty backbone, piney reunions close. Pretty good.

Can from Brewcraft at home during quarantine, alongside Cigar City’s Florida Man. Seems odd this is classified as imperial hazy/NEIPA, doesn’t seem that hazy. That said, it’s translucent light orange-gold and has a thin fuzzy white head. Aroma is juicy mango, zesty citrus (there’s the NEIPA), candied orange, pine resin - delicious. Taste is deep resin bitterness, some sharp citrus peel. Zesty fizzy finish. Very good!

Juicy, with heavy veins of grapefruit, candied orange zest, and lime, backed up by moderate notes of caramel and biscuit, leading to a citrus pith bitterness on the back end. Mild hints of dank and pine lace the periphery, with a touch of pineapple sweetness in the fade. Texture's a tad harsh, but an overall decent DIPA.
