Bottle at home, courtesy of my fam. Pours a not particulaly inviting dark goldenish colour with a quickly dissipating head. Nose is light esters, honey, booze and smoked ham. Tastewise it's sweet and rather heavy on the bacon/smoked ham notes that I like a lot. Apart from this there are hints of candi sugar, esters and honey and maaaybe a touch of cinnamon too. The finish is smoked ham again, and some malty/honey sweetness. Light to medium bodied, drinks well below the ABV. The carbonation is way too soft, especially considering that it's supposed to be a tripel. Speaking of which I didn't get much of that character, but it's a rather tasty beer nevertheless, has a touch of Schlernerla vibe to it too, that I'm admittedly a fan of.

Shared with the boys at BBT 11/2021. Med-thin body, surprisingly considering the ABV. The ABV itself hidden pretty well, only decent light warmth. Medium carbonation. Complex spicy character, not very intense overall, rather nuanced. The smoke appeared peaty to me initially, but after a while some smoked ham is introduced too. Typical tripely green apples present too. Overall not so intense, rather nuanced, hard to pick apart from such a small sample. Go for a full bottle.

Bottle at BBT 11/2021. Malty aroma and taste, spicy and light roasty notes, smoke notes, medium bitter. Medium to full body, malty smoked bitter finish. Ok.

Shared bottle at BBT november 2021. Golden color with white head. Aroma of smoked malt, toffee. Moderate smoke, malt, light toffee, no spices at all. Alcohol is well hidden. Good.

Not super nice and cosy, but not as bad as feared. One of those weird, confusing Molens that may be a concept or may be a mistake. Definitely still tripel, but with a bunch of weird spices? And smoked? Confusing, but not unpleasant. If you like tripels.

Dark golden colour with thin head. Aroma has smokey German ham. Flavour has malt sweetness. There's a spicy smokey note too. Not much left of a Tripel. More interesting than tasty.

Bottle. Pours a clear dark gold, almost no head. Aroma is lots of peat smoke, paprika, dried fruit, some orange, citrus in general. Medium body. Flavour is malty, sweet and somewhat tangy. Orange, paprika, lemon. Rather nice tripel, drinkable, easy drinking, nice peat smoke which is especially prominent in aroma.

Clear, amber color and a small white head. Nose is smokey, malty, yeasty, molasse-sweetness, a little boozy. Interesting taste, starts with a mixture of sweetness, yeast and smoke bacon, spices. Nice body, but rather short finish. Stasy sweet and boozy.

33cl Fles. Goudgele kleur, witte kraag. Aroma van wat rook, witte madeira, enorm zoet, alcohol, honing. Smaak is erg zoet (te zoet voor mij), rook, honing, alcohol, mout, witte rozijnen, licht kruidig, vanille. Nee echt te zoet voor mij.
