Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2017, [ Great British Beer Festival 2017 ], London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX.[ As Double Top Madhouse ].Clear medium to dark red brown colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, good to fair lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, chocolate, sugary, sweet chocolate - milk chocolate, light roasted. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, sugary, sweet chocolate - milk chocolate, lactose. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Cask at the GBBF 2017. Day 5. 12/08/2017. A dark brown black coloured pour with a laating loose light tan head. Aroma is tangy rustic wood. Apple and malt loaf. Flavour is composed of semi sweet malt loaf, fruit cake, tangy burnt sugars and toffee apple. Palate is medium sweet, oily, lowish carbonation. Ok.
