Brewed from an assortment of American Cascade, Citra and Centennial hops, the distinctive, fruity aroma of Full Amber is highlighted by a hint of grapefruit. This is balanced by Magnum and Perle German hops that produce a marked bitterness and contribute to a graceful, white solid foam head that puts the crowning touch on every glass that’s poured.

Can. Morrisons. Clear amber. Frothy, sticky, cream coloured head. Nose has boiled toffee. Sweet, jammy, stewed hop. Some ripe, red fruit. Taste is fairly sweet, first off, with some mild bitterness. Bit of a chewy mouthfeel. Soft carbonation. Bittersweet finish. Not bad.

33cl can from Morrisons. An attractive copper coloured pour with a billowing yellow head; aroma of crystal malt with some citrus; caramel malt body with a pleasant grassy bitterness; and a lingering finish with an odd blend of grapefruit from the hops and biscuit from the malts. Rather odd.

Can from Morrisons. Amber/brown, with a quickly settling off-white head. Clear. The aroma is resplendent with resinous malt and a dash of stone fruit. Sweet, slightly plummy taste, with some hop bitterness coming later on. Short finish which is slightly sour. Oily body with soft carbonation. Flawed but a good drink all in all.

Can from Morrisons. It’s either tired hop or that weird American crystal malt aroma. Or i just dont get on with 2 row malt. It’s too fizzy. The hop is bitter. The malt flavour has some amber sweetness but not enough. Yes not my beer thing at all. Malt and hop all over the place.

Bottle courtesy of Lynn and Barry (cheers both) consumed at home Sunday 1st May 2016 Pours as expected i.e. amber with an off-white head. Mostly caramel and toffee in the mouth, touch fruity. Ok but no great shakes. A6 A3 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1
