We love our American cousins. But sometimes they can be kind of full on. So we’ve crafted this beer to more British tastes. Made with American hops, it’s still got all the punch of a pale ale. Just less shouty.

12oz can, blue label, pours a clear dark gold with some ringing white head. Nose has some lemon and savory herbs, then dough, yeast, honey. Flavor is the same, toast with honey, dough, lemon, a little paper. Finishes dry.

Nice hazed golden color with a fine white head. Good lacing. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a fine mellow carbonation level. Pleasant and easy to drink. Mild malty, mild fruity and some citric notes in the flavor. Ok thirst quencher.

Clear medium amber, good creamy off-white head, mostly diminishing, fair lacing. Aroma pale malts, grapefruit, orange, grass. Mild taste, light to medium sweet and bitter, malty, fruity, grassy. Sweetbitter aftertaste, light lemon/orange, medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Not that impressive, but fresh and easy to drink

Keg half pint in the interval at the King’s Cross Theatre, served in a plastic glass at £ 2.75, ice cold. Deep golden colour, white head. Moderate aroma of fruity and piney hops. Fairly decent hoppy flavour, American hops. Medium dry, bitter finish.
