We love our American cousins. But sometimes they can be kind of full on. So we’ve crafted this beer to more British tastes. Made with American hops, it’s still got all the punch of a pale ale. Just less shouty.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a clear golden brown with a thick white head and little lace. The aroma is very grassy and floral. The flavour is medium bitter with some big hoppy grassy notes too. The hop choice is excellent This is a really refreshing beer and more like an IPA than a traditional pale ale. --- Beer merged from original tick of Camden Pale Ale on 05 Dec 2017 at 06:56 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7. Original review text: 33cl can. poured a clear straw colour with a frothy white head and a few bubbles. The aroma is dry malt, light tropical fruit, woody hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a crisp, fresh malt, light fruit, light dry spice, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A completely inoffensive pale ale. Quite drinkable.

Light golden amber, thin white head, good lacing, slight haze
Aroma - soft bitter hops, fresh, soft grassy hop
Taste - lemon zest bitter hops, bitter watery grapefruit, very light malts, fresh tasting.
Palate - medium carb, thin body. Finish of bitter zest...not much linger, zesty lemon, clean, crisp
Overall - Refreshing pale ale, bit watery though. I wasn’t really blown away by this
