We love our American cousins. But sometimes they can be kind of full on. So we’ve crafted this beer to more British tastes. Made with American hops, it’s still got all the punch of a pale ale. Just less shouty.

Appearance: Dark golden, clear. Big, white head. Aroma: Light fruits, grapefruit. Decent hops and also a bit of pale malt. Taste: Good amount of hops, some pale malt. Some light fruits. Low, but ok bitterness. Bought: Random London Off-licence, 330 ml can, £2.49 Info: 15/7-2023, BB: 31/1-2024

Pours clear, bit darker yellow. Small white head. Scent is gentle, floral / fruity hops take the lead. Taste is hop-forward, crisp and dry. Refreshing Pale Ale.

330ml can from M&S Bristol Airport. Deep golden pour, small, frothy head. Aroma is caramel malts, light hop presence. Taste is sweet, malty, dry, caramel.

Keg at Roxy Ball Room. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma and taste crisp citrus and malty caramel. Medium body.

On tap at The Marmot Arms Tignes. Unclear golden coloured, medium sized white head, citrus and light caramel in the nose. Sweetish malty, fruity, light citrusy and herbal hoppy with bitterish finish.

Draft @ Manor House, Oxen Park. Clear dark orange/gold with an ok white head. Aroma of grapefruits and other citrus fruits. Taste of malts, biscuits, citrus fruits and minerals. Moderate bitterness. Medium carbonation. Decent.
