We love our American cousins. But sometimes they can be kind of full on. So we’ve crafted this beer to more British tastes. Made with American hops, it’s still got all the punch of a pale ale. Just less shouty.

Keg at Amazing Grace, London Bridge. Highly hopped but little bitterness in this. Easy drinking and decent flavour for the abv.

Can that my lovely wife bought me from M&S; was pleased to discover that this is a different version than the one I'd had previously and therefore unexpectedly counted as a new rate. It's golden-amber with a white head and a middling fizz. There's lime, biscuit, lemon, and light herbal and spicy notes. All the flavours are quite mild, but that makes it pleasantly mellow and easy to drink. Quite enjoyed this; it's a big improvement over the original version.

Citrus, zesty aroma. Brilliant gold body, white head. Zesty, orange, fruity. Boring ale. 0,5 l, draught, pub (Swan), Lincoln (Lincolnshire, England).

Bottle. A bit hazy golden, smaller white head, medium lasting. Medium fruity nose, some sweet peachy notes with hints of citruses. Medium bitterness, slightly fruity. Peppery finishl. Lasting and gentle afteratste Light body. Proper and fresh, very drinkable.

This review has been posted in the wrong place until today (11th July 2021) 330ml bottle: BBD 1 Apr 15, drank outside looking at Borough Market on 11 Sep 14. Amber pour with an off-white head. Aroma is grassy and citrusy with plenty of bitterness. Taste follows along very samey. Nicely carbonated, alcohol well hidden, not bad at all. Keg pint on 23rd January 2026 at the Birmingham Airport Ibis Hotel.

Medium, off-white head, very fast gone over copper-orange beer. Asafoetida, very intensely, mandarine peel, bit soapy too. Raw grains flour. DMS? Crystal malts very obvious. Fainter citrussy flavours. Asafoetida returns retronasal, but much more fade. Not much taste in general. Sparkling water quality, light body, however not much carbonation. Bit... fade, indeed. Thanks to Stef!

Bottle shared thanks to Pierre. Dank cheesy hops, bready malts, grassy, a bit watery but some decent dank hops. Under medium sweer and bitter. Over light bodied. Drinkeable session stuff.
