Bottle sample at a tasting at Dagan’s place. Thanks Oren. Clear amber. Aroma of malt, caramel and some oxidation. Sweetish malty flavor with caramel, honey, some fruity notes and a slightly drier finish. Light to medium-bodied.

Pours amber into an English pint. Bright white head with good retention recedes to skim surface. Vanilla and oak aromas. Sweet summer pit fruit upfront turning to oak and marshmallow in the dry, lasting finish.

50 cl bottle at Cafe Benedict. Pours clear and golden orange with a huge off-white head. Aroma is fruity, caramelish and roasted. Thick caramelish, roasted and almodt breadish. Dry raisins and spiced. Bitter and lasting dry malty, light spiced. Lasting bitter impression. Slowly appearing sweetness.

Bottled. An amber beer with a huge light tan head. The aroma has notes of spices, hops, elderflowers, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of elderflowers, malt, spices, and hops, leading to a dry finish.

Bottled 500ml. -from Kaledonia, Budapest. Darker amber coloured, medium sized off-white head, malty nose with hint of alcohol. Moderate sweet malty, caramel and mild toffee with hint of spices. Quite strong but pleasant alcohol notes specially nera the end. Decent brew.

Cask at the GBBF 2011. Hazy copper with a small white head. Caramel and toffee dominate the aroma. Sweet caramel flavour with an apple peel note and a grassy finish

Bottle. Amber with a thin head. Aroma of roast malt and some coffee. Taste starts bitter hop with a sweet mouthfeel, strong finish with some liquorice and caramel.

Cask @ Counting House, JDW. Spoons Real Ale Festival autumn 2011. Dark copper colour, off-white head. Nose is toffe, bready, caramel candy. Flavour is sweet caramel, toffee, very soft and smooth. Fairly sweet finish.

Bottle bought at Tescos Amersham, Bucks. An attractive deep amber coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Malty, caramel aroma. Tastes malty, fruity, caramel, some bitterness, slightly sweet. This gets better as you drink it. My first Greene King beer for many years and I have to say it is pretty good stuff. Would definitely drink this again.
