Cask at the Cornfield Garage (JDW), Eastbourne. Reddish copper with a ring of white head that laces the glass nicely; sweet tropical fruit aroma; thick and syrupy in the mouth with lots of tropical fruit flavours - lychees and bananas to the fore; the finish is dry and warming, but the alcohol is well hidden. Seems better to me than the bottled version.

Cask handpull at Westgate Spoons, Canterbury. Clear chestnut colouur. Classic looking English beer. Bit of sweetness on aroma. Some Greene King yeast. Some earthyness. Some oomph from the alcohol. Althogether similar to the bottle version in flavours. Improved by being cask conditioned. Apple, red apple fruityness. 3.6/5 re rate Spoons fest Autumn 2016. Pommelers Rest cask handpull. Premium bitter fruity malty flavours. Lots of dry br9wn malt. Good though. A little sting on the finish shows the abv. Good beer though.

Bottle from Kaledonia, Budapest. Poured a coppery amber body with an off white head. Malty light nose, some raisins. Malty taste, again raisins, some very very light bitterness, no flaws really, not heavy. A nice, full English ale,
