DESCRIPTION
This is Hepcat. A Session IPA. Our mainstay and our original. It’s everything the style should be – fruity nose, juicy body, bright taste. Can we humbly call it a classic?
Goes well with dancefloors and smooth moves.
This is Marcus. He’s our designer, illustrator and friend. He likes expensive jackets and colouring in.

(Draught at BrewDog Camden, London, 22 Nov 2018) Golden colour with brief, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, grapefruit, lemon peel and white bread. Fruity, hoppy taste with bread, citrus, grapefruit, lemon peel and a balanced citric bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Fairly straightforward, but fresh and tasty. Nice one.

A great ipa, super aroma forward, almost no bitterness, none that is harsh. Great example of the style for me. Not a beer Grenoble (3.7 apr 2019) Bier company adventkal 2021... still a top notch session ipa.

330nl can. Poured a hazy golden colour with a mostly lasting thin white head. The aroma is malt, lemon lime, tropical citrus, earthy, mineral, leather, light woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter sweet, with a crisp, grainy malt, citrus fruit, light pepper spice, dry hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
