22 oz. bottle, sent from dfhhead25 (thanks Gib), pours a cloudy orangey red with a medium off-white head. Aroma of oak, wood, dry citrus, toffee and a little oxidation. Flavour of caramel, oxidized sherry notes, some butterscotch, and a little sugar, though perhaps less pronounced due to its age. Quite complex and not sweet, but maybe slightly past its prime as evinced by the oxidation notes. Not the "diabetes in a bottle" that Cuv�e 3 was, but inferior to Cuv�e 2.

Aroma is sweetish and malty with some ripe fruits and hops. Flavour is sweetish with caramel, some ripe fruits and hints of stinging alcohol. Decent, but somehow I expected more by the name.

Süßer, fast zuckriger Malzantrunk mit leichten Hefenoten. Alkoholisch, zu holzig. Die Süße ist penetrant, erst spät schafft es die Malzigkeit, hier einen gewissen Ausgleich zu schaffen. Zu penetrant, nicht wirklich gelungen 9/7/7/9/8/7

22oz bomber from Westroads poured into a snifter. Saved this one for my 300th rating. Pours a cloudy orange with a small bit of head. Aroma of vanilla, whisky, oak, caramel and candied sugar. Taste is medium sweet. Strongly vanilla with a little Belgian sugar, caramel and some nuts. Medium bodied with a somewhat sticky texture. Lively carbonation and a long sweet vanilla finish. Overall, absolutely awesome. I would love to drink this again.

Hazy amber beer. Soft palate, rich malt that finishes with porty and brandy tones. Overriding the malt is soft buttery creamy oakiness that is not to sweet, woody or dry. Next up is some very swee fruit - peach and apricot. A pinch of salt! Complex and very tasty.

Pours a crystal clear deep golden color with a stingy off white head that disappears almost instantly. Smells of vanilla, bananas, bubble gum, and spicy yeast. Taste follows the nose, malty sweet and leaves a little alcohol in the finish. Sticky mouthfeel, medium to thick body with low to moderate carbonation. 11% is pretty well hidden. Decent brew, a bit sweet, but good nonetheless.

Bottle courtesy Saxo. From voldby. Frothy white fair mostly deminishing head. Dark yellow colour. Modrate malty and light hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Caramellic notes. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

Bottle: A dusty, brownish-orange pour with a small sandy head. Aroma of faded citrus, florals, light vanilla, and oak. Sweet and mellow flavor is faded hops, citrus, caramel, and very light oak. Had this in the cellar a bit longer than intended, but it aged (presumably) gracefully.
