A mixed fermentation Farmhouse Red ale brewed with aromatic speciality malt and Rye for a spicy complexity. Primarily fermented with Saison yeast and conditioned on Red Currants and Sour Cherries. Aged for a further 18 months in Red Burgundy wine barrels with the yeast Brettanomyces Lambicus yeast character.

Draft. Hazy yellow coloured with a medium sized white head. Fruity aroma of caramel and spices. Fruity flavour of caramel and spices. Fruity finish.

Süß-säuerlicher Antrunk von dunklem Malz. Die Säure nimmt etwas zu, dunkles Holz, geringe Herbe. Noten von Waldbeeren, minimal alkoholisch im Hintergrund, angenehme Würzigkeit. Gelungen. 8/9/11/11/13/12

Bottle from Oddbins Beer Shop, Blackheath. Reddish brown pour with a wispy white head. Tart berry aroma, whisper of red apple. More bitter berry action in the flavour. Hits the spot very nicely indeed.

Dregs @ MTG II tasting at Rich’s Welfare Pad. Pours a hazed ruby. Vinous funk aroma. Taste is lightly sour berries, wood, soft red wine. That’s about all I could detect from my serving.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; clear red ribena pour with a thin white head, aroma has sharp raspberry and a hint of cherry, taste has raspberry, sour cherries, light citrus, some acidity.

33 cl bottle. Pours hazy brown to amber with a small tan head. Aroma is wineous, fruity and wooden. Citric, fruity. Lingering sour, fruity, slight citric. Wooden and lingering fruity far finish.
