Tap. Magic Rock Tap. Hazy, dark orange. Ring of white head. Nose is fruity, woody and sour. Candied orange. Squeezed lime. Vanilla oak. Some lactic type twang. Notes of rose petal and damp grain. Taste is earthy and dry. Light sour tang. Medium body. Slick mouthfeel. Light, tangy sour finish, with that oaky, rose petal thing lending a fair amount of sweetness.

650 ml bottle. Pours a clear gold/brown with moderate head. Aromas of toast and wood with a little vinegar. Flavors of brown sugared fruit, mellow, oak and bready malts. More mellow than sour and buttery from the oak but still quite tasty.

Tap @CBC16. Clear golden, small white bubbles. Light malt, vanilla and honey aroma. Malty, slightly grainy flavour with notes of wood and with a light honey-like sweetness.

Sample at CBC 2016. Light amber with a small head. On the sweet side with bourbon, funk, fruit, oak and some caramel. The body was medium and the finish quite tart.

Draught sample at CBC 2016, Blue session. Clear, golden amber colour with a thin, off-white head. Sweet aroma with vanilla, bourbon barrel, oak, caramel malts, tart fruits and floral impressions. Taste is sweet. Medium body. Finishes fruity with rich malts and vanilla. Late tartness. Nice, could easily be more tart.

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Light amber color. The aroma is almost vinous, with some fresh oak barrel. Strong body, a bit sourish, malty, resiny, sugary, hint of toffee and molasses, and booze.
Not a bad beer, bit very chaotic.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a fairly clear orange with a small beige head. Aroma brings out considerable oak, a little vanilla and very subdued tart fruitiness. Flavour is similar, with lots of oak and vanilla upfront. Barely any tartness here to this - hard to know what they were going for but it's pretty nice. Good stuff.

Draft - Sweet buttery and vanilla caramel notes. Clear gold with a small white head. Buttery caramel, sweet with some fruit juice notes. Not good. Update - Lots of stone fruit. Buttery notes are better and oaky notes.
