Bottle at Level 42 tasting, thanks to Wingman, 11/07/16. Orange golden pour with a decent off white covering. Nose is mellow oak, tarte citric rinds, vanilla, mellow whisky kiss. Taste comprises mellow JD & coke, vanilla, wood licks, light citric fruit notes, straw, grain. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok ... lacks depth though.

Bottle thanks to Matteo. It pours clear deep amber - brown with a thick white head. The aroma is soft, sweet - sour, whisky sour, vanilla, toffee, lemonade, ice tea and must. The taste is smooth, mellow, earthy, light vanilla, toffee, whisky sour, tangy, lemon ice tea and apple with a short, woody finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Ok, but no wow factor.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - deep amber tored with a nice lacy head. Nose - blended whisky like Bells or Grouse. Light wood. Taste - more cheap whisky. Palate - medium to full bodied with a tangy texture and a long sweet and dry finish. Overall - didn’t get much sour on it. Solid.

Bomber from Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours hazy golden amber with a beige head. Aroma is oaky/musty/fruity. Hints of citrus and brown sugar. Med body at least. There’s a citrus tartness, a bourbon vanilla, a brown sugar, a wood/must, actually probably a lot of things. Complex IMHO. Strangely it seems dry, and the bourbon/oak/citrus aspects seem to act towards a bitterness. Interesting. Tastes pretty good.

[5/13/16] Draught sample at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2016. Blue session. Golden. Messy aroma of whiskey, cookies, vinegar, fruitiness. Sweetish-sourish flavor with fruitiness and whiskey. Medium-bodied.
