Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear dark gold/light amber, small white head, some retention. Aroma of malts, biscuit, spice, orange peel, nice but a touch muted. Taste of cracker, orange peel, flora and a big piney bitterness running through, some sweetness in the finish also. Light to medium bodied with a chewiness in the finish. Quite nice although likely unmemorable.

Cask at the moon under water Watford Jdw. A clear mid gold coloured pour with a lasting white cap. Aroma is semi sweet, nutty bread, leafy hop, pine, cut grass. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, bitter citrus, lemon balm, pine, damp grass clogging up a lawnmower. Assertive hop bitterness lingering. Palate is semi sweet, decent cask condition. Rounded. Ok hoppy pale.

Cask at Moon Under Water, Wolverhampton. Pours golden yellow with a minimal scummy off-white head and good lacing. Plenty of floral hops in the aroma, along with pine and citrus. In the mouth it is sharp hoppiness that catches the attention first. Flavour is floral hops and tangerines. Later it becomes more straightforwardly bitter with hints of nuts and ginger. The bitterness wins out in the finish. Not at all bad.

Clear and golden with a frothy white head and a light biscuit malt aroma, and some citrusy hops. Light bodied, with a touch of graininess to the mouthfeel, we're talking light biscuit malt with some fruity sweetness & citrus bitterness thrown in, and a dry finish
