Bottle at home in London with Lyoli. Pours clear gold, lightly effervescent with a fine, white foam head. Toasty pale malts in the nose, some hay. Light sweet flavor, more toasted pale malts, dry grass, light biscuits, pine needles, hints of melon. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Mild dry pale malt finish, some grass and dry pine, mellow tangerine. Pretty tasty brew.

Half, cask at JDWs Manchester & County. Bright amber-copper coloured body. Bubbly ring to the rim of the glass. Dotted spots to the glassware. Plain fruit hoppy aroma. Taste of dried and fresh fruits joined by a touch of caramel. Plain dry bitter ending. Medium bodied. Food friendly. Ok British pale ale (Manchester, 21.01.2013).

Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. Pale amber in colour with a thin, loose, white head; the aroma is of sweet grains with a touch of honey; it’s soft and soapy in the mouth, and rather sweet, but with strong leafy hops dominating the flavour; these give a long lingering finish, with a slight acidic burn to the throat in the process. It’s good to see we can brew well hopped ales in England!

500ml bottle - a nice refreshing pale ale, not the prettiest looking beer, small white head on a golden body. The aroma is a delicate grapefruit, the taste is slightly bitter, but the excessive carbonation lets this down from being really special.

Cask @ Commercial Inn, Sowerby Bridge. Golden with a small creamy-frothy head. Steady hoppy golden ale style brew with some sweetness about it.

50cl bottle from Beer City, BB 04/2013.

500ml Bottle - Gold/amber with a small head. Grapefruit, aniseed and hops in the aroma. Hoppy and fairly tangy taste with notes of grapefruit, aniseed and lemon. Nice and tasty.

500ml bottle. Pours orange gold with a medium head. Aroma is cheap orange squash and some straw. Taste has the same. Medium bitter finish. Pleasant, but not really doing it for me.
