Drank from the bottle. Perfumed sugary aroma. Sweet, roasty, coffee. Medium body, medium carbonation, leaves an impression of a serious beer. A pretty good Schwartz.

Bottle at restaurant, Bod. Pours a clear deep reddish brown to black colour with a beige head. Aroma of nuts, hay, grassy hops, wort, licorice, bread and some dried fruit. The flavour is more roasted with nuts, wort and bread. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body and a light bitterness. A solid schwarzbier which is well roasted and balanced.

50cl bottle at Rakija Bar Kaldrma, Skopje. Pours close to black with a fairly decent, beige head. Malty aroma with bready notes and hints of caramel and roasted notes. Nice change from the domestic pale lagers of Macedonia.
