Bottle. Slightly hazy amber color with large cream eggshell head. Aroma is toffee, grapefruit, some tropical fruits. Taste is toffee, earthy, piney, some tropical fruity hops. Maybe not the freshest, but I like the malt body. Probably great stuff when fresh and local.

Bottle. Amber with a white head. Aroma of bread crust, honey, kumquats, some tropical fruit, pepper. Medium bodied, carbonation is too high. Bittersweet with bread crust and some sweet tropical fruit, bitterness oozes through. Not their most vibrant beer, but a solid drinker. Best before of 11/18 strikes me as a bit optimistic. --- Beer merged from original tick of Tomahawk American Pale Ale on 12 Jul 2017 at 08:27 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 8. Bottle at Maltainen Metso. Bbe 12/2017. Copper color with a thin white head. Piney nose, citrusy and malt in aroma. Nz hops really nice here. Crisp citrusy hops, grapefruit, some pine. Feels surprisingly fresh. Bitter dry finish.

Copper color. Lots of apples and apricots in the nose mineerally. Medium body, modest bitterness that ultimately feels a bit restrained. Fruit forward with apricot and apples. Quaffable. Decent stuff.

On tap at Smiths. Peach, orange, caramel, pine. Fairly typical APA, hard to get excited about but hard to fault at the same time.
