Bourbon barrel aged American strong ale finished on coffee beans and coconut. This strong ale is malt-rich with a syrupy caramel base that melts into the silky coconut feature. An exclusive blend of hand roasted coldbot coffee beans balances the dessert beer with warm, roasty, bitterness. Liquid macaroon!

500ml (thx, Nick S.!) at Ash's shared with Alex, Andrey, and Phill. Appearance: brown with a tan head. Aroma: bourbon, some grainy notes, coconut. Taste: along the same lines, quite hot. Overall: good one, and I am glad that I couldn't find any coffee in here, hehe.

Version released today, enjoyed on draft, listed at 14.29%. Wasnt on the online purchase list, so was denied access to bring a bottle of this home to share an incredible beer with my closest buds back home. Oh well. Cola light brown pour. Almost no head. Smooth sip. Aroma has coffee, oak, bourbon, and a rum character. Easy drinking double digit brew, a fitting characteristic of these guys. Coconut is really present in the flavor alone for me. Really nice brew.

500ml bottle. Smooth and slightly sweet malty with some old coffee notes, bourbon, coconut, hints of vegetables and vanilla. Quite slick but perhaps would be better fresh.

500 ml bottle, 2017 vintage. Dark copper body, with a small, beige head. Aroma of bourbon, cocoa powder, coconut, dried fruits, some coffee, some rum barrel. Tastes similar, with more alcohol. Medium, oily mouthfeel, with an average carbonation. Finishes warm, astringent, medium roasty, medium sweet, with cocoa, some coffee, some coconut, some bourbon, slight rum. Tasty. Heavy and complex, with quite some booze. Lots of lovely, sweet layers though, really rich. Great Barley Wine. Score: 8 / 4 / 8 / 4 / 16
