A ballsy, US style IPA, expect flavours of tropical & citrus fruits, with a lingering bitterness set against a smooth malty backbone.

A small taste @ the flagship Alko, press blind tasting. Pours cloudy yellow with a medium head. Aroma is slightly fruity pissoir. Flavor has a bit less pissoir but still some. Slightly fruity malts with some hops. Drinkable if you don't smell it at all.

330ml can. Pours a clear gold yellow with a small, foamy, long lasting, white head that leaves thick, soapy curtains of lace. Mild fruity aroma of bready wheat malt, orange, peach and floral hops. Sweet fruity flavour of grainy wheat malt, tangerine, cantaloupe, mango and light piney hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Just ok.

Hazy IPA (though only typified as ‘US style’ by the brewery), from tap at Bar Beenhouwer. Snow white, creamy, firm, medium sized, membrane-lacing head on a hazy straw blonde robe with somewhat greenish tinge. Aroma of lime zest, starfruit, guava, meringue, unripe pineapple, lemonbalm, grapefruit peel, touch sweet onion, freshly cut grass. Sweetish-fruity onset with light sourish undertone, guava- and lime-like accents, green mango, fizzily carbonated with smooth, slick and supple body. Aromatic hoppiness of course – starfruit, guava, lime zest, touch lychee, deeply penetrating a slender pale maltiness and leaving a mild peppery bitterness behind, along with something powdery (no hop burn though). Nicely streamlined New England-ish IPA.

Can, small stable bubbly head, hazy lightish orange colour, grapefruit, tropical and white fruit, some flowers, medium mellow citrusy bitterness, light noticable sweetness, lemony aftertaste. Nice and drinkable.
