There was no head at all on a near black, still body. Chocolate, malt & bitter fruit aroma. Medium body, silky mouthfeel, minimal carbonation & very dry. Dark chocolate, milk, bitter/sweet berries & cherry tastes.

Appearance- very dark, pretty much black, no head whatsoever. Aroma- dusty chocolate, cocoa, dark fruits, toast, dark malt, coffee, Black Forest gateaux. Taste- chocolate, coffee, burnt toast, hints of dark fruit, chocolate cake, dark cherry, bitter slightly roasty finish, traces of ash. Very flat mouthfeel.

Lovely cherry flavour, not picking up much choc though.
