Cask at Reading BF. Brown-black, no head. Smooth. Very smooth. We're talking James Bond levels of smoothness here - excellent mouthfeel. Very chocolatey. Some vanilla. A twist of fresh fruitiness - might be cherry, might be blackberry. Really tasty porter. Yum!

23rd April 2019, hand-pulled half-pint at the Pheasant Inn, Wellington Shropshire. Black bodied, tanned crown. Light cherry esters in the malty nose, taste also held some mild cheery flavours within the chocolate maltiness. Nice.

Gravity cask at the 2018 Nottingham Beer Festival, Motorpoint Arena. Very very dark brown bordering on black. There's a loose and uneven beige head. Lighter aroma than I'd respected, with malty chocolate, gamble and a touch of coffee. Tastes much better, with the sweet/sour of the cherry shining through. There's a tart and bitter finish, with black cherry in the aftertaste. Medium to full oily body bouyed by natural carbonation. Decent stuff.
